BHU School Teaching Recruitment 2025: If you're looking for a PRT, TGT, or PGT teacher position in a reputable school, here's the good news. Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has released a new recruitment advertisement for various teaching positions, including principal positions. Applications have begun.



Banaras Hindu University has announced these vacancies for Central Hindu Boys' School, Central Hindu Girls' School, and Shri Ranveer Sanskrit Vidyalaya. A total of 55 vacant teacher and principal positions will be filled in these schools. Eligible candidates can fill out the application form by January 5, 2026. The application window will close after that date.

Qualifications for BHU TGT PGT Teacher



Principal: Must have a Master's degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50 percent marks. For Shri Ranvir Sanskrit University, Master's degrees are required in grammar, literature, astrology, Vedas, philosophy, and Sanskrit. A B.Ed. A degree is required, along with 8 years of experience as a principal, vice principal, PGT lecturer, and 15 years of experience as a TGT teacher. Candidates should also have computer knowledge. The age limit should be between 35 and 55 years.



PGT: Must have completed a 2-year postgraduate MSc in a relevant subject from a Court Regional College, or a Master's degree in English, Hindi, Mathematics, History, Economics, Psychology, Philosophy, or Physics with a minimum of 50% marks. A B.Ed. A degree is also required. For PGT Physical Education, an M.P.Ed. is required. The age limit is 40 years. Relaxation will be available as per the rules.



TGT: Must have completed a graduation in a relevant subject with at least 50% marks, along with a B.Ed. Degree and passed the CTET. The age limit is valid up to 35 years.



PRT: Must have passed the 12th standard with 50% marks, along with a D.El.Ed., B.Ed., or Diploma in Special Education, and passed the CTET. Candidates up to 30 years of age can apply for PRT. Relaxation will be available as per government regulations.



How to fill out the form?



To apply, candidates must first visit the official BHU website, www.bhu.ac.in.



You must first register on the Recruitment & Assessment Cell portal. After this, you can log in to the website and fill out the relevant recruitment form.



Carefully fill in the required information. Then, scan and upload a digital passport-sized photo and signature in JPEG format, no larger than 50 kb.



Pay the application fee according to your category and take a final printout of the form, and keep it safe.



Application Fee



A fee of ₹1,000 will be required to apply for the post of Principal. For PGT, TGT, and PRT, the application fee will be ₹500. Candidates can check any other information related to this recruitment on the official BHU website.
